UNITED NATIONS: Addressing a UN briefing room on Thursday, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari calls prime minister of India “the butcher of Gujrat”. His hard-hitting words come minutes after India’s foreign minister accused Pakistan of “sheltering Osama Bin Laden.”

“I would like to remind Mr Jaishankar that Osama bin Laden is dead, but the butcher of Gujarat lives, and he is the prime minister (of India),” said the Pakistani foreign minister calling out Indian Minister of Foreign Affairs S. Jaishankar’s remarks.

In a press briefing held after chairing the ministerial conference of G77, FM said, “It is very easy to describe Muslims as terrorists, even though we have been the victims of perpetrators of terrorism”.

He said Pakistan is a victim of terrorism and as the Foreign Minister of Pakistan he is a victim himself: “I am the son of Shaheed Muhattarma Benazir Bhutto.”

“I would like to remind you, honorable foreign minister of India, Osama Bin Laden is dead, but the butcher of Gujrat lives and he is the prime minister of India”, said Bilawal

He said, “Modi was banned from entering into the USA till he became PM of India, he is prime minister, and foreign minister of RSS,.”

“If the foreign minister of India is honest then he knows it as well that RSS does not believe in Gandhi, his ideology, and the manifesto, the worship of the hero that assassinated Gandhi”, said Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

“Ask the people of Gujrat, they will say its their prime minister, ask the people of Kashmir they will say that the butcher of Gujrat is now the butcher of Kashmir,” FM challenged.

FM claimed, “they (Indian government) are not even attempting to wash the blood shed of people with their hands”.

Bilawal further said, “They are converting India from secular to Hindu premises…this narrative is very important for them domestically and internationally that demonize the people of Pakistan.”

“They expected from the world to believe that we are terrorists, but we are not.”

He stated that Pakistan has evidence that India facilitated the terrorists in the country. If that’s the case how is Pakistan an epicenter of terrorism? Bhutto questioned.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari demanded that participants come together and combat Islamic extremism and Hindu extremism and face these challenges. He asserted that we should not pursue religious populism, adding “otherwise, this generation and the next generation will continue this process”.

FM Describes Discounted Russian Oil As “Truck ki Batti”

On the matter of Russian oil, Foreign Minister denies rumors of Pakistan importing Russian Oil.

“As far as Russia is concerned, we aren’t pursuing or receiving any discounted energy, but we are facing an extremely difficult economic situation, inflation, pump prices,” he said.

Admitting Pakistan’s grave energy crisis, he said: “We are exploring various avenues to expand our areas where we can get our energy from,” he said, adding that “any energy from Russia will take a long time for us to develop.”

However, he also denied exceptions for the immediate import of Russian Oil but gave a signal that we would import oil from Russia in the future, according to the scenario.

On the issue of Russia and Ukraine Bilawal said, “Europe relies on Russian oil but after the crisis customers of Moscow shifted from Russia to our market, from where we getting resources. We are engaged in resolving the problem and whatever we can do to meet the need of our people”.
