KARACHI: England Cricket team swept Pakistan by eight wickets and won the series by 3-0 in final Test in Karachi on Tuesday. Pakistan was whitewashed on its homeland for the first time.

This marks England’s first Test tour of Pakistan since 2005.

Ben Stoke’s Supremacy
“It’s perfect,” said Stokes of the 3-0 result. “We’ve got a process we want to play but the challenge was the different pitches for every Test.”

Although the batsmen shone on Pakistan’s run-friendly wickets, he also had praise for his bowlers.

“We were particularly good with the ball. Whoever I threw it to, they seemed to deliver. The commitment and mindset has been top-drawer,” he said.

It takes self-assured, unique domineer to run yourself as captain and Ben Stokes showed his bold captaincy during the series. The English team set 343 runs target in Rawalpindi Test and played out an unusual fielding against Pakistan.

Pakistan’s bowling line is facing unwanted issues with Shaheen Shah Afridi not being on the team and Naseem Shah and Haris Rauf injured as well.
