WASHINGTON: Foreign Minister of Pakistan and Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari issued a clear-cut statement calling TTP as an “absolute redline” for Pakistan.

Addressing a press conference at the Atlantic Council, Washington, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said, “TTP is Pakistan’s absolute redline.” He added that Pakistan has warned Afghan Taliban to control the terror activities led by TTP, otherwise the ties between both countries would be gravely affected.

“And absolutely we will be willing to consider each and every single option to ensure the safety and security of our people.”

Bilawal Bhutto in his Washington talk, reiterated that the militants and their terror agendas need to be curtailed as a priority. Pakistan’s UN Ambassador Munir Akram also pointed out that engaging in negotiations with Taliban is a prerequisite to stabilize the region.

FM offered assistance to the Afghan Taliban and said, “If Afghan Taliban want to begin operation against extremists, Pakistan will assist them.”

In a response to a question, Bilawal said “Election will be held on time but Imran Khan wants a fresh election to do rigging.” Bilawal said entities are acting according to constitutional values, but some politicians are trying to spread hatred and political differences.
