BALOCHISTAN: Five soldiers embraced martyrdom and many were injured after seven blasts blew up in different regions of Balochistan. According to reports, three blasts ripped through Quetta, two in Turbat, and one each in districts of Hub and Kohlu, during a clearance operation against terrorists in Kahan, Balochistan on Sunday.
According to the Intelligence Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Improvised Explosive Device (IED) exploded during the operation near a “leading party” in Kohlu district’s Kahan area.
As per Radio Pakistan, Captain Fahad, Lance Naik Imtiaz, Sepoy Asghar, Sepoy Mehran, and Sepoy Shamoon laid their lives in defense of their motherland, against an externally perpetrated threat of terrorism.

“Security forces remain determined to challenge their nefarious designs, even at the cost of blood and lives. The sanitization Operation continues in the area to apprehend perpetrators,” the ISPR said.
The Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, condemned the unfortunate event and vowed to bring perpetrators to justice.
“Heart-wrenching news from Balochistan about the martyrdom of 5 soldiers including an Army Captain. The nation pays its tributes & respects to our heroes who laid down their lives for Pakistan,” said Shehbaz.
President Arif Alvi lauded the struggle and sacrifice of the soldiers.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Abdul Quddus Bazenjo regretted the incident and said, it was a cowardly attack.
“Protection of the country with bravery is the distinction of our brave soldiers,” he said.
The Pakistan Army has reaffirmed its resolve to challenge the terrorists’ nefarious designs, even at the cost of blood and lives, adding that “such cowardly acts by inimical elements cannot sabotage the hard earned peace and prosperity in Balochistan”.
