PTI Claims ‘Resurgence of Terrorism’ Is Result Of Ousting Khan’s Government

ISLAMABAD: Following the back-to-back terror attacks, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Fawad Chaudhry, on Wednesday, said it is the outcome of ousting Khan’s government.

Addressing the press conference, the former information minister Fawad Chaudhry said if terrorism adopts the worst situation in Afghanistan, Pakistan will face the inverse consequences.

He claimed that Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari is out of touch and unaware of the situation in Afghanistan. “Bilawal Bhutto doesn’t even know the issue of Tehreek-e-Taliban. If the situation in Kabul deteriorated it would implicate negative for Islamabad as well,” said Fawad Chaudhary.

Mr Chaudhry also claimed that former prime minister Imran Khan was the “only respected Pakistani leader” in Afghanistan because his “hands were not tainted with the blood” of Afghans.

He said since Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif assumed office, he didn’t get any briefing on Afghanistan and the tribal areas of the country.

Bringing up the situation in the former Fata region, he said that since its merger with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the government did not spare any on the development of the tribal districts.

Mr Chaudhry cited that as a result of operation regime change, the establishment “imposed a group of jokers on us” and for this it should admit their mistake.

However, Fawad Chaudhary professed that there is no judiciary system in Pakistan, and added that the court has no authority to take part in politics.

Resignation of PTI Members of NA

Fawad Chaudhary also claimed that the PTI lawmakers did not draw salaries after they resigned from the assembly and alleged the PTI leaders’ salaries might have been received by the PDM members.

He also claimed that according to the law, members of the assembly are restricted to giving their resignation while they were standing on the floor of the parliament house. 127 lawmakers of PTI followed the constitution, they resigned from the membership at the flour of house, but they change laws for PTI.

“We will submit our resignation before the speaker of the National Assembly,” said Fawad.

He said the designation of the speaker is the most respectful in the world but in Pakistan, the speaker is oblivious to the responsibility of his office.

“For the verification of resignation he has given the time for tomorrow,” said Fawad Chaudhary.
