ISLAMABAD: Following the reports of the reunification of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) factions, Fawad Chaudhry, Leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, said on Friday, the establishment is collecting thugs of MQM to stop PTI.
On Thursday, Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori met with dissident leaders of MQM, Farooq Sattar, Mustafa Kamal, and Anees Qaim Khani, and all leaders acknowledged that they should be united to save the city.
Governor indirectly gave a sign of reunification of factions of MQM and said MQM would work under the supervision of Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, the convener of MQM Pakistan.
Fawad Chaudhry criticizes the establishment on reunification of factions of MQM, the political party which belongs to Karachi.
“Karachi was a city light. The establishment thought to create its own party, then they collected all thugs and made MQM”, Said Fawad Chaudhry.
He said, “they played with fire for decades, and now again they are thinking to the lighten city with gunpowder.”
Earlier, when Imran Khan-led the PTI government was ruling in the country, MQM was a part of Khan’s cabinet. He described the politicians of MQM as [Nafees Log].
Barrister Dr. Farogh Naseem was the Minister of Law and Justice, and Convener of MQM Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui was the Minister of Information Technology after Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui Syed Amin ul Haq taken the charge of Ministry of IT, in Khan’s government.
