Cristiano Ronaldo Signs Al-Nassr FC Till 2025

Cristiano Ronaldo, the captain of Portugal signed two and a half year contract with Saudi Arabia’s Al Nassr club on Friday. In an interview, the 37-year-old footballer disclosed of not having good terms with the Dutch Manager, Erik Ten Hag, and felt let down. 

In a statement given by the Al Nassr, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner will join the club team in 2025. The footballer said this is the ideal time for sharing experience in Asia, adding he is lucky to achieved much in the “European football”. Ronaldo said, “I am eager to join my new teammates and work with them to advance the Club,” 

After a spectacular tenure at Real Madrid from 2009 to 2018, where he won two LaLiga titles, two Spanish Cups, four Champions League crowns, and three Club World Cups, Ronaldo will come to Saudi Arabia with a great collection of club honors. The footballer has earned more than 800 goals for club and country. 

FIFA World Cup 2022 

Team Portugal was knocked out in the quarter-finals by the first Arab African country Morocco entering the World Cup. However, Ronaldo became the first to score the five world cups. He also said Qatar will be his last World Cup as the GOAT known by his fans is planning to retire at 40. 

Musalli Almuammar, President of Al Nassr Football Club said, “This is more than history in the making;” Moreover, he added that this new development will inspire our club, league, nation, and future generations.
