KARACHI: According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), a temperature of 12 degrees Celsius has been recorded in Karachi. The cold breeze in Karachi has taken over since the chilly winds have increased in Baluchistan. The temperature during the day reached 25 degrees.
PMD informed Quetta, Baluchistan, the “westerly wave” turned toward Baluchistan on January 6, on the western and upper parts.
On the western and upper parts, the PDM recorded a “westerly wave” that turned toward Baluchistan will cause freezing weather in Karachi.
The current temperature in Karachi is recorded at 18 degrees Celsius. According to the weather forecast, the percentage of humidity in the air will be 44%.
The wind is blowing from the northeast at 19 km/h in Karachi, with a potential to gain speed. The maximum temperature is expected to reach 25 to 27 degrees Celsius. The cold will become more intense during the next few days, and the temperature will drop.
