LAHORE: Anti-terrorism Court (ATC) approved the petition seeking the polygraphic test of Imran Khan. The court issued notice to all wounded in the Wazirabad incident, including Khan.
During the proceeding, Mian Daud, the counsel of accused Naveed Bashir Cheema, presented his argument before the court and said, “Mobile phones of Imran Khan and other wounded would be proven as evidence.”
He plead, with the court to take the mobile phone of Senator Ajaz Chaudhary into custody by which he tweeted about the incident “If the accused phone can be forensic, so why the phones of wounded cannot be forensic?” said Daud
Mian Daud also raised questions regarding the Joint investigation team (JIT) and said, “Team is not gathering facts about the assassination.”
He claimed that JIT is using discriminating against Naveed.
After the arguments of counsel Daud, the court summoned Imran Khan and other victims wounded in the Wazirabad Assassinations of Khan.
The court also accepted the plea of a polygraphic test and adjourned the hearing till 19 January.
On 5 Jan, Mian Daud claimed “Wazirabad incident was planted by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on its own to boost the long march of Khan.”
Meanwhile, on 3 Nov, Ex. Prime Minister Imran Khan got injured in a gunshot when was going to address a public gathering of the long march.
