JHELUM: Leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI), Fawad Chaudhary, admitted that they want to restore ties between PTI and the Establishment.
In an informal Media talk in Jhelum, Fawad Chaudhry responded to a question and said, “We want to restore our ties, and we want to work relationship with them, but in current manners, PTI has no communication with the establishment.”
When a reporter asked Fawad Chaudhary, “Is the Establishment attempting to constitute a new political party on dissident members of PTI?” he replied, “Does it matter?”
He said, “Present of dissidents doesn’t matter for the party, and they have crowned the victory on Imran Khan’s ticket.”
“The dissident members also won the elections in Khan’s name,” says Fawad.
However, regarding the Vote of the Trust of Chief Minister (CM) Parvez Elahi, he said, “We are ready for this, and we will decide about it after the hearing of Lahore High Court, on 11 January.
He also claimed they have completed the numbers of the voter for the no-confidence motion.
However, The CM needs a majority of Provincial Assembly members’ votes to win the trust of the Assembly.
While castigating the policies and priorities of the government, Chaudhary said, “Government is focusing on collecting loans, the inflation rate is getting on its peak and citizens are bogging down into the quaggy of inflation,” He described the situation as ‘nasty’.
