CM Orders More Police Officers Be Deployed In City to Combat Threat of Street Crime

KARACHI: Syed Murad Ali Shah, Chief Minister on Monday ordered IG Sindh Police, Ghulam Nabi Memon to increase the police deployment over “hot spots” in the city. In a notification order, the CM had issued directives to utilize the force and curb the growing street crime.

Moreover, the policemen were allotted to three zones including south, west, and east. Each zone has been deployed by police trainees. The zones with trainees includes South Zone (1000) , west (900), and east (1200). These policemen will be from the Shahid Hayat Police Training Center, Saeedabad and Police Training Center, Razakabad. All the police officials will be deployed in three shifts.
