KARACHI: Sindh High Court (SHC) on Monday directed Kubra Khan to record her statement before the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA). On SHC orders, both FIA and PTA (Pakistan Telecommunication Authority)were directed to obstruct defamatory content circulating on social media against the actress.

An inquiry report was registered at FIA Crime Circle Karachi. The report submitted by IO Shagufta Shahzad stated that she (Kubra) had provided all the accounts to the focal person FIA. Moreover, Shahzad requested the court to direct the petitioner to visit the IO for recording the statement.

The court had adjourned the proceeding till 26 January. The plea was filed by the actress last week for derogatory and sensationalising comments made by former Army chief, Adil Farooq Raja.

Adil Raja has allegedly accused four actresses with initials of their names. Raja in her video accused the actresses of having an illicit relationship with the top military brass.
