ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said on Wednesday “90% of the collaboration amount consists of ‘Loan Project’ it has crossed $8 billion already.”
Regarding the International Monetary Fund (IMF), he said “We have a detailed meeting with the delegation, and we had tried to narrow their agenda, which is referring to the power sector.”
While Premier Shehbaz Sharif expressed his applause for a successful international conference on ‘Climate Resilient Pakistan’ and said this was a result of the struggle of a coalition government.
He said yesterday that in Genthe eva, international community pledged to give us, a total of $9.7 billion, adding that the Islamic bank announced a huge contribution which $4.2 billion.
Castigating the opponent, Sharif said, “If the international community had any risk of embezzling their money so, why did they announce their contribution,” adding, “Our opponents are creating propaganda, we can collect such amount if we had followed them,” said PM.
He said they trust on us and believe on our dignity.
“I believe in crystal and clear work, and it is our responsibility to use each Penny in rehabilitation work,” vowed Premier.
The Premier didn’t give a clear answer about the total number of grants and loans. He replied we should focus on rehabilitation.
