Arif Alvi Offers Dialogues Between PTI & Government

President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi expressed serious concerns about an economic crisis aftermath of a deadlock of dialogue between political parties and offered dialogues Between Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf and the government.

In an interview with BBC, President said “if we won’t begin the dialogue between political parties the economic environment will become tenser.”

Presenting his role as mediator, he said, it is inevitable to cold down the temperature of the politics of the country. I am offering negotiation between all stakeholders.

“In the current situation, the government is averting dialogues with PTI,” says Alvi.

“The Government didn’t try to get access to PTI to overcome the issues between both for a month,” he claimed.

The close aid of chairman Imran Khan told BBC that Imran Khan was satisfied with the appointment of a new Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Asim Munir.

“There is no dialogue done between current army leadership and PTI,” says Alvi.

He said, “I am not talking about Imran Khan, I am just saying at least political parties should negotiate among themselves.”

However, Alvi repeated his offer to sit with each other for the country, “I support talks between Khan and the ruling government.”

He said, “whenever I talked to the government they expressed their support, but there is no result has been seen yet.”

He said, “The election will be held this year as the tenure has been reached to complete, and it should be held on time.”

The President suggested that all parties should decide when they will want to conduct the election, it might be sooner or later so that we will welfare the people and economy.
