Free IT Training for One Million Youth in Punjab

Chaudhary Pervez Ilahi, the Chief Minister of Punjab, recently declared that one million Punjabi candidates would receive free IT training.

The youth will benefit professionally and develop self-sufficiency thanks to the training. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and Re-Skills (A Malaysian company) has been signed by the Punjab government to accomplish this. Therefore, students will receive free online instruction and IT expertise.

The Punjabi chief minister also said that Punjabi aspirants between the ages of 16 and 30 would be able to enroll in free IT online courses. Therefore, it will give young people numerous chances to improve their future.

However, the Malaysian corporation would give the Punjab government a grant of $12 million for the training. CM elaborated, saying that the government will make the courses available digitally and that candidates could easily access them via smartphones.
