The star spinner of Afghan cricket Rashid Khan is deeply disappointed by the decision made by cricket Australia.
The three One-Day Internationals (ODI) were set to take place in UAE. Australian Government made the final decision to cancel the tour because of the current decision made by the Afghan government on the education of women.
Star cricketer Rashid’s response to Cricket Australia’s decision,
“If Cricket Australia doesn’t want to play cricket with Afghanistan, I don’t want to play BBL either”
“I will also think about playing BBL in the future. Cricket is the only hope of our country, keep politics away from cricket.”
Australia and Afghanistan were scheduled to play three one-day internationals in the United Arab Emirates, but CA postponed the series following “extensive consultation” with all pertinent stakeholders, including the Australian government.
