Kashaf Alvi, an inspiration to many, is a 19-year-old boy with a vision, ambition, and determination. Alvi, who has a hearing impairment, has achieved remarkable milestones in various fields, including literature, technology, and social.
He is an active recipient of Microsoft Certification, has written a book, columnist, short film writer, and is recognised as a pride of Pakistan. Alvi has also created a mobile application for physically challenged people. He has been active in social activism for disabled people.
The 19-year-old, highly motivated boy is a part of the Global Shaper Community. The Global Sharper Community is a building platform that focuses on solutions, policymaking, and addressing global challenges.
The Global Shapers Community is an initiative of the World Economic Forum that allows young minds to seek solutions in regional, local, and global challenges. The network is expanded into 150 countries and has 14,000 members.
Alvi is also one of the “global shapers” who want to contribute to differently-abled community in Pakistan. He will soon start working as a Global Shaper from the Islamabad hub.
Mainly, shapers are assigned projects to tackle the needs of the community. The shapers are highly skilled persons, with their experience imprinting a footprint on a mass level.
