LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan signaled to return to the parliament house and vowed to make the caretaker government in wake of an early election as well.
In a media talk with reporters in Zaman Town Lahore, “We have already planned regarding return to the assembly, and we are testing MNAs of PMLN as well.”
Earlier, an echo of a vote of trust for Premier Imran Khan has heard from Zaman Town, the last meeting of PTI chaired by Imran Khan cleared the clouds from the issue.
According to the report of Capital TV, source says, “Chairman Imran Khan approved the recommendation referred to take trust vote from the parliament.”
“Chairman Khan has already advised President Arif Alvi that ask Sharif to take a vote of confidence,” says sources.
Under article 91, clause (7) of the constitution of Pakistan, the President has the authority to ask the sitting prime minister to secure a vote of confidence from parliament.
The article Reads; The Prime Minister shall hold office during the pleasure of the President, but the President shall not exercise his powers under this clause unless he is satisfied that the Prime Minister does not command the confidence of the majority of the members of the National Assembly, in which case he shall summon the National Assembly and require the Prime Minister to obtain a vote of confidence from the Assembly.
“We can go back to the assembly to make up a caretaker government, and I believe that general elections will be hold in April,” says Khan
“In case if the PTI and allies wouldn’t go back to the assembly, the Premeir take vote won’t return home, despite he will not collect a vote of confidence from Parliament.”
Khuwaja Asif on ‘Trust Vote’
Minister of defense Khuwaja Asif responded to the issue, “we will them (PTI) when they would return to the assembly.”
“Vote of confidence is not necessary, we have the complete number of voters, so there is no reason for hesitation.
To Referring the integration of PTI and PML-Q, Asif said, “Thieve are gathering under the umbrella of stealers.”
Chairman PML-Q Suspends Elahi
Imran Khan also predicted that if PML-Q would be combat along with PTI it would get the success.
On the other hand, Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Monday suspended the party membership of Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Parvez Elahi while seeking an explanation from him over the possibility of a merger with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
“Please submit the explanations regarding your illegal and unconstitutional act,” stated the show cause.
