Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Assembly Dissolution Summary to Be Sent To Governor

KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA: The KP Assembly dissolution report would be delivered to Governor Haji Ghulam Ali before midnight, according to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government spokesperson Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif on Tuesday.

Moreover, Mahmood Khan, Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has also indicated the dissolution of the KB provincial assembly. Adding more, he said, that the notification will be sent to Haji Ghulam Ali, KP Governor on 17TH January. CM Khan said in a tweet, “According to the orders [issued] from leader Imran Khan, a summary for dissolution of the KP assembly will be sent to the governor on Tuesday [tomorrow],”

While addressing the meeting, CM Khan thanked the government and MPAs from the opposition for the last four years that have passed. CM Khan said, “I thank the public of KP for posing their trust in me. “In the upcoming general elections, we will establish a government with a two-thirds majority in the entire country.”

Furthermore, the CM lambasted the “imported government”, adding more that the corrupt gang had caused the political instability in the country. 

Punjab Assembly dissolved

The Punjab Assembly (PA) was dissolved over the course of the weekend on January 14 after Punjab Governor Balighur Rehman excused himself from the proceedings and stated that he was unable to take part.

The notification from the governor regarding the caretaker CM Punjab was sent to CM Pervez Elahi and Hamza Shehbaz. As the Punjab Provincial assembly was dissolved under article 112(1) of the Constitution.
