KARACHI: Police booked the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, and Jamat-e- Islami (JI) in the case of strife and protest. Terrorism charges have been added to the First Information Report (FIR).
JI and PTI, on Wednesday, staged separate protests against the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), expressing reservations about the result of the Local Government (LG) election.
During the protest, the supporters of political parties strafed and fought with each other.
Meanwhile, police registered a case against PTI leadership in the site area police station with Ali Zaidi, Bilal Ghaffar, Saeed Afridi, Atta Ullah, and others booked in the case.
Meanwhile, another FIR was registered against leaders of JI and supporters in Aziz Bhatti police station.

The reports of Capital TV say, “Supporters of parties beaten each other with bottles and canes.”
PTI workers also got injured during the fight, and supporters vandalized the office of DC Kimari.
‘PPP Buries with Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto & Benazir Bhutto’
However, Ali Zaidi claimed that the results have been changed and condemned the act.
In a media talk along with Ameer Jamat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, Zaidi said, “they already have planned to stone-throwing.”
He said, “People’s Party has been buried with Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto, they are part of the Zardari Mafia.”
