KARACHI: Jamat-e-Islami (JI) is staging the gratitude Jalsa for their success, while Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan (TLP) is protesting against the rigging in the election.
According to the spokesperson, Jamat-e- Islami will celebrate victory at M.A Jinnah road.
He said, “Ameer Jamat-e-Islami Karachi Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman will announce his plan regarding the development of Karachi.”
“Ameer JI Pakistan Siraj-ul-Haq will especially address the gathering,” says the spoke person.

Earlier, the JI expressed their anger against the election commission of Pakistan and PPP and blamed them for rigging the election result.
Meanwhile, yesterday provincial minister of labor and man force Saeed Ghani met Ameer JI Naeem and repeated PPP’s offer to make a coalition administration.
In a media talk, Saeed Ghani said, “we want to make coalition authority with JI, and we’ll improve the administrative institutions of the city collectively.”

Hafiz Naeem informed JI had submitted the request for a recounting of the vote.
On the other hand, TLP staged a demonstration in Karachi, they held a rally from Tibat Centre to the office of the election commission.
They claimed the rigging in the local bodies’ elections.
Meanwhile, the TLP secured 3 seats in the local government election in Sindh, held on 15 January.
