LONDON: PMLN Supremo and former Premier of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif, blamed the former Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, and Spy Master General Faiz Hamid for the current situation in Pakistan.
On January 20th, PMLN’s top leadership gathered in London to discuss the political and economic situation of Pakistan. After the meeting, Nawaz Sharif expressed his views to journalists, describing General Bajwa and General Hameed as responsible for Pakistan’s political uncertainty.
“Do remember my address at the Gujranwala Jalsa, where I identified the issues and those responsible,” Nawaz said. “I believe it is my responsibility to point out the cruel behavior they have inflicted on the country, and to inform the public about it,” he added.

“Do you think General Bajwa and Faiz are responsible?” asked the reporter.
“Everyone knows that their faces and names are not hidden,” elder Sharif replied, adding “they have put Pakistan in a spin.”

The meeting also examined the issue of Punjab’s political uncertainty, the caretaker Chief Minister, and the dissolution of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly.
During the meeting, Nawaz Sharif said, “Maryam Nawaz will soon return to Pakistan and fuel up the election campaign.”
The Interior Minister of Pakistan congratulated Maryam Nawaz on her appointment as Senior President and Chief Organizer of the party. Rana said that Maryam Nawaz is an asset to the party.
