ISLAMABAD: After a mishap of ‘electrical sparks’ in the National Assembly (NA), the building has been closed for four days. PTI members have described the closure as a tactic to prevent them from taking back their resignations.
According to a report by Capital TV, audio and video cables have been damaged in a sensitive area of the building.
On Sunday, short circuit ‘sparks’ were detected in the parliament house. The Speaker of the National Assembly and the Chairman of the Senate have taken the notice of the situation and have directed concerned secretaries to resolve the issue immediately and effectively.
