The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) have submitted their answers to the Sindh High Court (SHC) regarding the objectionable content cases filed by actresses Mehwish Hayat and Kubra Khan.

According to the reports, the FIA and PTA have been ordered by the SHC to block defamatory posts on social media that criticize stars Mehwish Hayat and Kubra Khan.

A bench of two judges headed by Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto has issued notices to all the concerned departments, including the Attorney General, for January 26.

Ms. Hayat claimed in the petition that “derogatory, defamatory, malicious, incendiary, and sensationalizing allegations” made by YouTuber Adil Farooq Raja against her and three other actors on December 31, 2022, on social networking websites, citing the ministry of interior, FIA, and PTA as respondents.
