Shamsa says that she bought 2 blankets online from a shopping forum named Rainbow Linen. She took pictures of the blankets and showed them in the camera. Pointing out that one of them had a label of ‘Government of Sindh’ written on it, Shamsa added, “The other one had the label too but someone cut it off.” She further expressed her disappointment over the government’s incompetency and how aid for flood victims is being wasted.

The Sindh administration received harsh criticism from internet users after the video was widely shared on social media. Murad Ali Shah, the chief minister of Sindh, is being urged by online users to pay attention.

Pakistan People Party’s Sindh administration has previously been charged with “stealing” aid supplies intended for flood victims. A Sindh government official was busted previous year for selling aid in nearby marketplaces.
