ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) announced plans to send a legal notice to the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, regarding his allegations against PPP Co-chairman, Asif Ali Zardari.
Chairman of PPP and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said, “Imran has now made false accusations against my father, former President Asif Ali Zardari.
“We are exploring a legal response to Imran’s latest defamatory and dangerous accusations.”
This statement was made in response to Imran Khan’s accusations that PPP Co-chairman, Asif Ali Zardari, is involved in a plan to assassinate him and provide funds to a terrorist organization.
The Minister further said, “He handed over Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to terrorist organizations, and his party funds terrorist groups to this day.”
‘Imran Khan is a Habitual Blamer’
Addressing the media during a press conference, Nayyar Bukhari, along with Farhatullah Babar and Qamar Zaman Kaira, stated that “Imran Khan is a habitual blamer, but he does not have any evidence to support his claims.”
Bukhari also stated that Imran Khan is suffering from depression, and his accusations are a result of his mental state.
He announced that PPP will send a legal notice to the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, if he does not retract his statement.
Bukhari stated that the series of accusations by Imran Khan are old and that he is now engaging in acrobatics instead of making U-turns.
He added that the politics of Imran Khan has been buried and that the PPP is ready to send a notice against him.
Former senator Farhatullah Babar said that Imran Khan has lost his mind after losing power and that he has supported terrorists.
The leader of PPP, Qamar Zaman Kaira, stated that Imran Khan has a habit of attacking entities and that his politics is not democratic.
He condemned Imran Khan’s accusation and said that it is a heinous accusation.
He also requested the judiciary to take notice of this and said that the PPP will take legal action on it.
He demanded that the allegation be investigated and said that it is not acceptable.
