QUETTA: A bus crashed into a ravine in the Lasbela district of Baluchistan on Sunday, killing and burning 41 passengers. The bus was en route to Karachi with 44 total passengers, including men, women, and children, when it caught fire.
The injured were taken to the Civil Hospital’s burns unit in Karachi, where one man was announced in critical condition. The fire was so intense that the rescue team was unable to start their search. Murad Kasi, Lasbela Deputy Commissioner, stated that the cause of the fatal incident was due to excessive speeding while making a U-turn.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah expressed deep sorrow over the accident involving a passenger bus in Lasbela. CM directed the Karachi administration to provide all kinds of cooperation to the administration.
