ISLAMABAD: Maryam Nawaz, senior vice president and chief organiser of the Pakistan Muslim League (N), will begin party organising visits around the country today.
Maryam Nawaz will visit the Bahawalpur Division today as part of the first leg of the journey, where new local leaders will be inducted during a party organisational meeting.
The meeting, which Maryam Nawaz will preside over, will also assess the party’s current organisational structure in order to strengthen it locally.
She will be accompanied by Rana Sanaullah Khan, president of the PML-N in Punjab.
Days after Maryam Nawaz arrived from London and was given the extra responsibility of chief organiser, Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb published Maryam Nawaz’s schedule.
On February 1, Maryam addressed the workers’ convention in Bahawalpur to launch the campaign. While on February 2, PML-N will host a party organisational meeting in Bahawalpur. Furthermore, on February 5 and 6, the party will host a convention and a meeting in Multan, respectively.
Azad Jammu and Kashmir will be the next stop because Maryam Nawaz will speak on February 9 at the workers’ convention in Abbottabad. The party’s organising meeting will take place on February 10 in Abbottabad.
