After coronavirus was detected in toilet water of international flights, the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) has decided to monitor all the flights landing in Pakistan.

What you need to know:

The PCAA has been given instructions by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to gather water samples from each airport in Pakistan.

PCAA’S screening process:

The aviation authority has also been instructed by NIH to build a routine method for gathering water samples and guaranteeing that every drop of water is virus-free.

Why it matters:

Pakistan reported 15 more cases of Covid-19 in the past 24 hour. The total number of verified positive cases are now up to 1,576,294, says NIH. On the previous day, 3,066 corona tests were completed in the span of 24 hours. As a result, 0.49% of people tested positive.
