LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested senior journalist and TV host Imran Riaz Khan in Lahore and confiscated his mobile phone and other belongings.
According to a message from Imran Riaz Khan’s social media team on Twitter, he was taken to an undisclosed location after his arrest by the FIA.
Earlier, senior journalist and analyst Imran Riaz Khan was detained by the FIA at Lahore Airport. In a Twitter message, Imran Riaz reported that his mobile phone and other personal items were being confiscated.
It is worth mentioning that Imran Riaz Khan’s YouTube channel has millions of followers on social media. The senior journalist stated, “I will be arrested.”
It is also important to note that Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed was previously arrested by the Rawalpindi police from the Murree Motorway between Wednesday and Thursday night, and has been transferred to the Aabpara Police Station in Islamabad. A case has been filed against him as well.

“Sheikh Rasheed arrested, Imran Riaz arrested, politicians imprisoned, journalists jailed, while terrorists roam freely,”says Asad Umar.
Hammad Azhar said, “The arrests of associates of Imran Khan are intended to spread fear.”
