KARACHI: The Sindh High Court ordered the halt of illegal construction on a six-story building in Moosa Colony at 80 yards on Thursday. A notice order has been issued to the Director General of SBCA (Sindh Building Control Authority) and the director of Sindh Katchi Abadis Authority.
Moreover, the court has also issued notices to the SHO Gulberg Police Station, and builders (Jawad and Aamir Baba).
Muhammad Ahmad Hasan, the petitioner said that the ground plus five buildings has collapsed on the same plot, adding that builders have once again started construction on the same plot.
It added, that several people were killed and injured when the building collapsed. The petitioner added SBCA was complained on the issue, however, no action was taken. The application to discontinue plots 1113 and 1114 was submitted.
