Islamabad: Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has been appointed as the new President of the Pakistan Muslim League (N) in Baluchistan. He met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and other party leaders, including Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Rana Tanveer, on Thursday to discuss problems in Baluchistan.
Mandokhail was instructed to strengthen PML-N’s position in the province. Mandokhail was a member of the Baluchistan Provincial Assembly from 2013 to 2018, representing Pakistan Muslim League (Q).
Jawad Sohrab as SAPM
In recent news, Jawad Sohrab Malik has been appointed as a Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM). According to a notification, the position is equivalent to that of a Minister of State and was approved by the Prime Minister.
Malik will be working on special tasks assigned by the Prime Minister. The notification also noted that Malik declined to accept privileges associated with the role of SAPM.
