SAHIWAL: A teacher at the Government Primary School in Chak Chanwat, Pakpattan, has been suspended for sexually abusing underage students.
According to Chief Executive Officer (Education) Abdul Majeed, the instructor was suspended from his job by the deputy district education officer in Pakpattan after complaints were lodged against him.
Parents of underage pupils at the aforementioned institution filed complaints and requested that Deputy Commissioner Qudratullah Qayyum investigate the situation.
The district’s school education department appointed a two-member team to investigate the claims, led by Govt High School, Kartarpur Headmaster Liaqat Ali. Mr. Majeed stated that the department was awaiting the outcome of the investigation before taking any further action.
According to sources, the Malka Hans police visited the school on Friday and performed a first investigation into the situation.
