LAHORE: In a wake to the detainment of Imran Khan, the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, security forces conducted searches of both of Khan’s residences, Zaman Park and Banigala.

Sources reported that Imran Khan will be arrested promptly once the order is issued, following the completion of the search of his residences.

According to sources, the exercise indicated that Khan will be taken into custody in the evening, with the sources pledging that his arrest will take no more than 20 minutes.

A private source claimed that the officials have already devised a plan to counteract any resistance from supporters.

Capital TV reported that security forces will obtain a warrant prior to arresting Khan.

The searchers stated that they discovered during their search that Khan has a secret escape route, and the security forces have put a plan in place to prevent his escape.

Private sources reported that to evade arrest, the PTI (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) is gathering a force of supporters.

Sources stated that there are currently 48 people at Zaman Park, with the potential for the number to increase to 400 upon receiving the order.
