BAHAWALPUR: A maid was gang-raped by seven individuals in Baqirpur, Bahawalpur, on Monday night. According to the police, the woman was contacted by one of her acquaintances, Jaffar, for household work.
Upon arrival, she was taken to a deserted house where Jaffar, Waris, Zahid, Amir, Irshad, Shan, and Riaz allegedly gang-raped her and made a video.
The woman was taken to the hospital after she fell unconscious. The police have registered a case and arrested three of the main suspects: Jaffar, Waris, and Irshad. Further efforts are underway to arrest the remaining individuals.
