KARACHI: Efforts to release stranded containers are ongoing, and according to the business community, 5630 containers remain stuck at the port.

Zubair Motiwala stated that the Maritime Minister, Faisal Sabzwari, had made a commitment to releasing the containers, but this has not yet been fulfilled.

The business community has announced that the 18th “My Karachi Harmony Oasis” exhibition will be held next month.

At a press conference held at the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industries (KCCI), the aim of the upcoming exhibition was stated as showcasing the strength of Pakistan’s business sector in overcoming challenges and addressing problems.

The Chairman of the business community group, Zubair Motiwala, stated that due to consecutive economic and political uncertainty, only four countries will participate in the exhibition this year, as opposed to the twelve countries that participated last year.

To strengthen the economy, Faisal Subzwari was pledged to provide relief to the business community.
