KARACHI: The disappearance of Muhammad Khan Bhatti, the Chief Minister’s secretary, was challenged in the Sindh High Court on Thursday. The court ordered the Inspector General of Sindh, the Director General of Rangers, and the Interior Minister to submit their reply within ten days.

The petition was filed by Bhatti’s son-in-law, Umar Iftikhar. The advocate stated that Bhatti went missing on February 6th from the neighbourhood of Matiari, a city in the Sindh Province. The petition also mentioned that it is suspected that Bhatti was taken by government authorities and that torture is expected. Barrister Ayan Memon said that the court should immediately order an investigation.
